History:

Back in the 80s, Mr. and Ms Tsolakis used to explore the peninsula of Sithonia, due to the numerous excellent and untouchable beaches in the area. In 1988 they bought a piece of land (10.000 m2) by Tristinika beach, where in 1992 they built a guest house with apartments, in order to offer hospitality to friends from Athens and Thessaloniki. The prompt of their friends and the desire of the hostesses to extend their services, led to the creation of Despotiko Hotel. By the year 2000, two more buildings were raised, while the existing building was renovated. By May 2007, a section of 4 suites in the roof garden started to operate. Today, Despotiko in Chalkidiki is a small elegant boutique hotel, where the guests enjoy the personal care of the Tsolakis family (Akrivos, Anastasia, Chistina, Alexander). Despotiko is a place for physical and mental relaxation.
